First cable received was defective. Do NOT waste your money on 'Brand Name' HDMI or even HDMI cables sold at retail stores. I contacted the vendor by email and the product was replaced quickly without question and without an RMA needed. The second cable performs flawlessly. A digital signal is an 'All or Nothing' proposition. If the signal gets through whether you spend $5 or $100 the function is the same and so is the image.
i wasnt expecting much for the price of the cable, and being that the longer it is the worse the quality of the picture is transmitted (or at least supposed to be). but i was very very surprised to find that they work perfectly. i have a 40 inch flat screen plasma and i watch movies very often from my laptop. the quality is very good.
I have this cable hooked up to a Dish Network HDTV receiver and my $2000 HDTV. I have an "expensive cable" on my secondary HDTV and you can not tell the difference. We've interchanged them with no changes to the picture. Don't pay for the expensive cables, these work just fine.
kick yourself and call yourself stupid cause i did when i bought these cables. And you get the same quality no difference. if you were the person that went out and spent 50,60,90+ dollars on cables because they are "monster gold plated" cables then we are in it together. I actually tested these against a pair of expensive cables (that i already had). now i bought two of these cables and a coupling and use it to change my computer over to my 56" inch tv (to watch movies). GREAT GREAT GREAT.
I PERSONALLY PURCHASED THIS ITEM FOR INSTALLATION OF OUR FLAT SCREEN TV. I AM SURE IT WILL SERVE ITS PURPOSE WELL.
